Harvesting rainwater is easy. Choosing the right system is too.
Enjoy fresh water without restrictions.

Rainwater House is not just a brand, its a concept in conservation. A simple system for adapting your home to take full advantage of our natural resources.
An authentic Rainwater House protects the environment by reducing the demand on the water supplied by our dams. It's a house that combines our Rainpod™ storage tanks with water filtering systems, and a range of filtering products for your gutters and downpipes, that optimise your clean, rainwater harvesting capabilities.

We designed our Rainpods for efficiency, strength, long-life and good looks. The double and triple pod storage tanks are an attractive addition to any home, and we are the first to design and patent the corner design.
Compact. Versatile.
Long-lasting. Stronger. Holds more rain water.

Rainwater House is a leader in water storage development and conservation, taking advantage of Bluescope’s Aquaplate development and applying the latest guidelines from waterwise and Queensland councils. All tanks have convenient high access taps.
Patent pending applies to shape and building design.

Why choose a Rainpod™?

*They look great. *They're lined with food-grade polymer (that conforms to high AS/NZA 4020
standards). *They're easy to install and maintain.
We supply double and triple pod tanks ranging from 1660-5360 litre capacity. So, you can select a tank best suited to your specific water requirements.
We also offer you the authentic corner Rainpod™.
It was designed to conserve space, and tuck snugly around the corner of your house. We can custom construct this design to fit either an internal or
external corner placement. Plus, our colour palette makes it easy for you to blend the Rainpod™ with your house colours and garden. All Rainpods are
fitted with durable 316 stainless steel fittings.

Is every house suitable for a
        Rainpod™?

By choosing a Rainpod™ just right for you, your house can become a 'rainwater house'. When it comes to selecting the right size tank for your home, our
authorised distributor will make a recommendation based on annual rainfall, the roof catchment area,
and your intended water usage plan. You may be concerned that your roofing material may not be ideal for harvesting rainwater. Generally, roofs of cement or terracotta tiles, Colorbond® steel, galvanised iron, Zincalume®, polycarbonate or fibreglass sheeting and slate will cause no problem to clean water collection. The unique Rainpod™ design means it’s easy to access water on the tank. So, all you need to think about is - which Rainpod™, and where do you want it? Call our friendly staff to arrange an obligation free home visit, to inspect and advise a storage package tailored to suit your needs.

How can the rainwater be used?

The use of rainwater tanks
for drinking water has been
a long-standing and often
essential practice in rural and remote Australia.
But, this is not your only option. There are other usage choices too, like using this free water supply for bathing, laundry, toilet flushing and gardening. When the water from your Rainpod is supplying most of your water needs, then you really will be living in a 'rainwater house'. And that's good for Australia. The pool pod has a capacity gauge, so you always know how much rainwater is in your
tank and ready to access.

How can you get even cleaner water?

A Rainpod is the first step in achieving a 'rainwater house'. But there are steps you can take
to ensure the harvesting of cleaner water, in larger
quantities. Firstly, if you have gutter mesh it will
keep debris from blocking gutters and soaking up
rainwater. Next, keep mosquitos out of downpipes with 'leaf beaters'. Install a first flush device to flush pollutants before they reach your Rainpod.
You could then filter and purify your rainwater ready for drinking. The result will be maximum rainwater
collection, of a cleaner quality, that hasn't leeched out natural minerals and the good taste.

There is a Poolpod for your swimming pool.
Designed specifically for delivering fresh rainwater to top up your pool, it features a fuss-free fitting that makes replenishing water lost to evaporation, easy.
